Short Dump while activating Transformation through Program

HI All,

I am getting short dump while activating - Inactive Transformation through Program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE.

However while i can activate single Transformation but if run without selection, I am getting this dump.

Short Description of Dump -

Category	ABAP Programming Error
Runtime Errors	ASSERTION_FAILED
ABAP Program	CL_RSAR_FORMULAS==============CP

Application Component  BW-WHM-DST

Date and Time

Please Guide.

Hi Prasad,

Check the syntax with transformation and try to re-transport the active  trfn it works...or activate through program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE

Hi,

Based on the error(CL_RSAR_FORMULAS==============CP) I think your transformation contains formulas .

Can you just perform a check (CRTL+F2) on your trasnformation and see whether it says some think like "Syntax error in formula" ?

at which server your facing this issue?

BWQ or BWP?

if your getting at BWQ then you better retransport your transformations form bw dev to bw quality.

What selection your selecting while activating transformations?

it's BWQ.

Actually we had System Copy of BWP to BWQ. So, there is no transport invovled.

No Selection, just running the default selection.

retransport your active transformations form bw dev to bwq.

later check it.

if it gives the same error then please search for oss note in sap market place by using error description.

You may find relevant note as pre your bw version.

Thanks raman, like i said its a copy system from BWP to BWQ.

And more over  the inactive list of transformations is huge and it could not be feasible to transport.

Then cross check your bw table RSLOGSYMAP. whether it shows ECC quality as source or ECC prod.Due to the system copy, source details will referred ecc prod as my guess.

if yes then ask basis to help to change as ECC Quality(as source).

Later try to activate them by using program.

Hi Prasad,

Have you changed the 'Object Status' from INA to ACT when using the program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE?
