RSA3 runs forever by adding a custom field to a datasource of EBP system

Since the delivered datasource 0BBP_TD_SC_APPR_1 (in EBP system, similar to R3) doesn't contain a company code field and we need it for data selection in our application that I append one custom field to the append structure. I developed enhancement to populate this field. I then run RSA3 to test the data extraction on the EBP side, but it runs forever without a finish. I then commented out my enhancement code, but still runs forever. I also set a breakpoint inside the beginning of the enhancement code and then run RSA3 debugger, but it runs forever even it can't reach the breakpoint!

This datasource extraction used to run normal. Now the only difference is the custom field I appended to the structure if I comment out the enhancement, why it makes the run forever?

Thanks for everyone's input!

    hi Kevin,

the extraction may still read the 'old' with custom field hence runs forever, try deactivate the project (transaction cmod) and activate again.

can post the user exit code for custom field ?

Actually system will not find the value Company code at the time of extraction from the tables. This value will be evaluated in the customer exit. So how can you use the selection( which is used at the time extraction) on this enhanced field.
