Friends,

I want to know how to create inspection point and its use.

In my case, in MIC one inspection point is maintained and when I go for results recording, system takes me to a window where I have to select from a list.

Hello,

there are several inspection points available in stdn SAP and their related Fm also available, few works in stdn settings while for few you need to implement the fm for auto generation of inspection points. like 150 , u need to define it in routing or in inspection plan then system auto generate the inspection points based on qty and no.'s.

So just read the std SAP documents and test one by one in Test system.

One error is coming in results recording. After I lock one characteristic and try to save, following error comes.

No selected set exists for the inspection point 920 or plant 3100

QCC0> Plant level settings> Select your plant> Result recording> Proposal for Insp point valuation> maintain the values here

hello,

Just assign the selected sets for inspection point valuation on Plant level in QM customization.

this error is because , you recorded results and lock MIC but whether your results are correct or not for that valuation u need to put valuation code , which u need to assign in QM customization ---> Plant level setting.
