Import ItemIntrastatExtension (ITM10) does not work in 9.1

Hi,

I try to update existing items to insert commodity codes in itm10 (ItemIntrastatExtension) in 9.1 using DTW. The commodity codes are already inserted in the intrastat-configuration.

I do the following:

- Start DTW and login

- Import->Masterdata->Update Existing Data

- Chosing Invetory->Item Master Data

- Select File Type txt

- Chosing File for Items and ItemsIntrastatExtension (I already tried to use only the ItemsIntrastatExtension, same result)

- Click next and check mapping rules (everything seems to be fine)

- Run DTW

None of the items was updated, error message:

No matching records found (ODBC - 2028) No matching records found (ODBC - 2028)65171

Is anyone here who already successfully imported commodity codes in SBO 9.1

has anyone any idea what goes wrong?

Here are some example lines, first the main document for OITM:

ItemCode ItemName

    Hi Jürgen,

I faced the same problem here - try using the corresponding AbsEntry from table ODCI for the field CommodityCode instead of the commodity code itself.

    (e.g. 8523 instead of 85444210)

This applies to other fields such as ImportRegionState as well.

    Regards

    Stefanie

    HI Jurgen Hansen..

SAP 9.1 is in the ramup version so it is hard to decide does it is a bug or missing functionality. Better you can raise a ticket with SAP....

    Hi Guys,

I'm trying to import intrastat ITM10 data and even when I set CommodityCode as AbsEntry value of ODCI table (in my case =201) I get an import-update error: "Failed, [ItemCode], This entry already exists in the following tables (ODBC-2035) 65171"

As soon as at mapping I set CommodityCode as LeaveBlank the import (simul) is OK.

What I could have done wrong?

    • Dear Grzegorz Ramotowski,

Are you using object 'ItemIntrastatExtension' only in DTW to update the 'Intrastat Relevant' Settings for the Item Master Data?

The value of "CommodityCode" in your file should be the "AbsEntry" in ODCI table instead of "Code" field.

Are you able to reproduce this issue in the DEMO Database ? Do you have the steps to reproduce this issue?

If you can reproduce this issue on request, you can raise an incident for SAP Business One Support Team under the component SBO-DTW to get it investigated.

      Kind regards,

    Dear Ankit

    Thank You for Your reply.

    Yes - I used last DTW option"ItemIntrastatExtension'.

Yes I used AbsEntry from ODCI and not CommodityCode itself (I found this info in Q&A).

    but...

the reason was an unseeable error in TXT import data file.

It looked well in text mode, in hex mode I have not seen any strange hex characters excepl alphanum, 09h (tab), 10h (NL), 13h (CR) but it did not work.

I rewrote it once again and then it worked ok.

So - error source was on my side but still SAP error message was quite missleading (as often does).

Thank You very much for Your time and help.
