ROWLAYOUT does not work for GROUP UI Element

I am trying to have following layout. G1, G2 and G3 are Group UI Elements

-

G1

-

G2 G3

-

-

I am using RowLayout for RootElementContainer with following data

Group1 - RowHeadData

Group2 - RowHeadData

Group3 - RowData

RootElementContainer Width = 100%

Group1 Width = 100%

Group2 Width = 30 %

Group3 Width = 30 %

Group2 and Group3 are always coming one below the other . Group3 is always starting a new row, though its layout data is RowData

I want Group2 and Group3 to be side by side ...

Anyone faced this problem ?

Thanks

    That's a limitation of HTML rendering, some "block" elements always start a new row, even if they shouldn't.

    Use a MatrixLayout instead, this will work.

    Thanks Armin... I think that is one big limitation of WD

    But still how will I get the layout I need by MatRixLayout. I want the top group to extend 100% page width and the bottom 2 groups to be 50% width each.

    I tried but I am not getting the layout I need with MatrixLayout

    Can u pls tell em the values of RowData and RowHeadData for each of the 3 groups ?

    Thanks

      G1: width=100%, layoutData: {MatrixHeadData, cellDesign=padless, colSpan=2, width=100%}

      G2: width=100%, layoutData: {MatrixHeadData, cellDesign=padless, width=50%}

      G3: width=100%, layoutData: {MatrixData, cellDesign=padless, width=50%}
