Scale based pricing for multiple Sales Orders

Hi All,

I have tried to search the forum but somehow wasn't able to get the proper answer of my query. So putting up my below requirement.

The price say PR00 of material M1 will be in scale basis like :

1st 20 items it would be 1000 USD

21 to 50 items it would be 900 USD and so on and so forth.

But, if a customer buys the material M1 in the Sales Order it will also calculate the quantity from the previous Sales Orders and the corresponding price of the M1 will be calculated. Say customer buys 15 quantity today and the PR00 will be 1000 USD. Tomorrow he places an order of 8 quantities of M1, the price would be 1000 USD for 5 quantities and 900 USD for the rest 3 quantities.

I have tried to use condition update but suggestions from you all would be great. Thanks in advance.

    Dear Anshuman

You want To be consideration Lost sales order qnty also Right ?

ex: You have maintained scales like this

    1..10     Price 100 rs

    11--20             95 rs

    21....30            90 rs

Suppose customers Brought today 3 qnty it would be 100 rs and again If same customer order 10 Qnty it would be 95 rs ( 10+3) Should come into second scale Right ?

If it is exact Requirement Give Logic to ABAPER .. That old sales order Qnty should be consideration into Another sales order

    Hi

This is not possible. If you want to stay in standard settings then ask your client to change the policy as per standard and if they are insisting on this requirement then you can use ABAP development and don't try to cater this through pricing routine because it will effect the system performance. An ABAP application can cover this type of discount but you have to execute that on daily. weekly or monthy basis.

    Thank$

    Hi Anshuman,

The said requirement is not possible if you are trying to achieve it through only sales order management.

Your business requirement is acceptable but to make it in proper way, you need to achieve it through contract management.

The Pricing scale will be applicable in Contract because you are trying to cummulate the material quantities.

Please convince them to have a contract wiht the customer with a certain quantity and then apply the pricing scale over there. In my opinion this is one of the standard way to meet your requirement.

    Thanks,

    Umesh

    Hi All,

As there is no standard functional approach available for this, am moving to Dev team for this enhancement. Anyways Thanks all for your precious time. Also closing the thread.
