Installing SAP Netweaver Gateway and SAPUI5 add-on on the trial SAP Netweaver AS ABAP

Hello everyone,

I want to install Netweaver Gateway plugin to SAP Netweaver AS ABAP. but because of I use trial version I cannot use SAINT transaction. Also I cannot register on the SAP service marketplace. So my question is is there any other way to install SAP Netweaver Gateway components to SAP Netweaver AS ABAP trial verion? Or is it possible to use sapes1.sapdevcenter.com web site to develop web service? sorry my bad English.

I thing its not possible to install the SAP GW, you can check the SAP trail version limitations,  and also kindly refer the SAP note for SAP GW 2.0

You have to provide the SAP S-user id to view the SAP Note

I have not SAP S-user id. I try to get a new one but I have no installation ID.

Hi Sakit,

Just do some google search and you will find SCN links.

If you don't have suser ID then get it created. Use you SCN ID to search.

1. If you dont have the S-user id how will download the SAP GW component from Service market place?

Hi Sakit,

I believe steps remains same for licensed or trial editions.

If you can find a guide for normal edition, you should use the same for trail versions too.

Without SAP S-user id you cannot download the SAP Components from Service Market place. Kindly get in touch with local SAP team for SAP S-user id

Hi,

I have installed the ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64bit Version with Gateway 2.0 SP04. I would like to install UI Add-Ons 1.0 for SAP Netweaver and I have read note 1666368 - Installing UI add-on 1.0 for SAP NetWeaver

The requirement is upgrade kernel and SAINT to latest version, but when I try run SAINT tcode I have error "No valid maintenance certificate found for system NSP."

My question is:

Does the trial version with DEMOSYSTEM installation number allow to install any add-ons and update saint/spam version?

Information about system:
SID: NSP
Installation number: DEMOSYSTEM

Kernel release 720,  Sup.Pkg lv 214

SAINT Version 7.02/0045

SAP_BASIS: Release 702, Level 0011
