Redirect TREX output to a xml file

Hi,

We are trying to integrate two search engine. I would like to have the TREX output the result to a xml file instead of the browser.

I need to compare the search results from the both the search engines and then display the results.

Is there any way of sending the output to a file? Thank you in advance.

Rgds,

Janvi.

    Hi Janvi,

is there a specific reason why you are not using this:

<b>"Integrating 3rd party search engines into KM index management"</b>

    https://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/nw_kmc/howto/km/using_global_services/Integrating%203rd%20party%20search%20engines%20into%20KM%20index%20management.html

And check this thread as well:

    Hi Karsten,

the reason we want to customize the process is because we find the 3rd party search engine has more features and moreover the client has been using the search engine for the past couple of years and they prefer that over TREX.

they are going to using both the TREX and the 3rd party search engine.

    Anyway thanks for the info.
