Badi Customer_Add_Data

Can anyone help with this.

I am trying to implement the Customer_Add_Data BADI and am following both the IMG documentation and SAP Note 577502.

I have added a screen group with one new tab label.

I have created an implementation of Customer_Add_Data and activated it. It includes the method "Check_ADD_ON_Active"

I am not having much luck with the line "inform the standard program via method Check_ADD_ON_Active" (SAP Note:577502)

Can anyone please tell me what I am suppose to do with this method?

Thanks in advance.

Inside this BADI Method, You have to check whether I_SCREEN_GROUP passed is the screen group that you have added and if they match then set E_ADD_ON_ACTIVE = 'X'.

    Otherwise E_ADD_ON_ACTIVE = space.

    Hope this helps..

      Hi Brendan,

It seems your screen 1000 is not a subscreen.

You can only pass subscreens to these tabs.

So while creating the screen, mark it as Subscreen in Screen Attributes section.

If the screen already exists then change the attributes to Subscreen..

Also do not use 1000 as it is normally reserved for Selection screens..

      Hope this helps..
