Smartform - language dependency

Hi friends,

Can you clear my queries:

1. When I create a new smartform in certain language (say English), will it be automatically created in other languages?? If not what's the exact process to be followed

2. For an existing smartform, how to find out in how many langauges is it being maitained??

3. After the second point above (if the no. of languages in which the smartform is maintained is known), if there are some changes to be made in the logic (like addition of some more nodes etc.), do these changes need to be done in all the languages individually???

Hi Aadrash,

1. Yes available in other languages too. (you need to translate the texts etc...

2. It will be maintained in the language (logon lang) in which it is created.

3. Changes made in base will automatically get reflected in other languages.

The texts and descriptions that are used to create the smart forms are to be transalted into other languages.

You can translate the texts using se63.

3) YOu don't need to handle separate ligic for different languages..YOu should only transalte the texts used in the smartform.
