I went in DBCO to create a new database connection

DB Connection - ABC_NEW

DBMS - ORA

User Name - User Name

DB password - DB password

Conn. info - ????

can anyone please guide what would be the connection info? i have seen other posts mentioning TNS alias but not sure what that is?

can anyone exactly guide on what would be the entry on the field connection info?

thanks in advance

It is different depending on the database type you are connecting to.

    Documentation says:

    For SQL:-

    Conn Info:- MSSQL_SERVER=AGTSAPR3BI MSSQL_DBNAME=TEST OBJECT_SOURCE=dbo

    Application Server AGTSAPR3BI

    Database TEST

    Schema dbo

    For Oracle:-

Conn Info:- SSID=<SSID of Source Database>;SAPDBHOST=<Name of the host on which

    Database is running>

I am connecting to Oracle myself but can't get the syntax to work above. Did you get yours to connect? If so, can you please verify the syntax
