Unable to create content in SAP Developer Space

Hi,

I can no longer create any new content in the root SAP DEveloper Center space and even worse, I can no longer a couple of drafts I had in progress in that space.

Has something changed?

Thanks,

G.

Hi Gareth,

As far as I can tell, this is intentional (not being able to create content at the "root" level of ). I imagine this is by design, because the administrators of the Developer Center do not want content created in the generic top level space but rather in topic-specific spaces. But I will defer to on the matter.

That's correct.

We had a number of people posting in the root Developer Center, culminating in a post by one of our partner/competitors marketing their own developer center.  This led us to shut down the discussions and blogs at the root Developer Center.  All of the blogs should be placed with their respective products, in the sub-spaces under developer.

If someone has content that they would like posted in the root center, please write that blog in a sub-space, and then contact us directly.  We can move items in to the root if they are relevant to our entire development community.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Jonathan,

I noticed that someone had rejected Mark Yolton's post,

Probably because it was published in the root of the Developer Center.

I restored it because it doesn't break any of the rules of engagement. Could you move it to the appropriate subspace?

Thank you!

Jeanne

Hi Gareth,

it seems, that the merging with   takes its toll.

It was anounced some time ago, that these spaces were dicontinued and merged with AD.

Obviously, only documents are left allowed.

Don't you have acces to your drafts anymore or is only editing disabled?

Adding to your discussion, here is the link of this forum

And it looks like the forum which is under read only.

It looks like it's set to "read only", because I can't see any possibilities in the "Actions"-box on the left in the Content-tab.

So at least it's not just you.
