Replicating Material from ERP to C4C

Hi Experts,

I am trying to replicate Material from ERP to C4C (middleware HCI) which has an alphanumeric number range. It is also required that C4C must have a same Material number as in ERP, so I implemented the change as given in below link:

So mapped MATNR from SAP ECC IDOC structure to ReceiverID of the SAP C4C.

Now, I am getting an error message stating 'Material ID missing'.

Please help if someone has faced similar issue.

Hello Amit,

Just to confirm, is it possible to replicate alphanumeric material IDs from ECC to SAP Hybris C4C via SCI/HCI?

We are about to make a POC of this, and the thread here (https://blogs.sap.com/2015/04/23/sap-c4c-integration-customization-to-achieve-the-product-internal-id-same-as-sap-ecc-product-id/) , states that alphanumeric is not supported:

1.Please note that the Number Ranges on C4C cannot be Alphanumeric. (Either Alphabetical or Numeric is allowed)
