for our company, Saturday and Sunday are weekly offs. But leaves are counted based on calender days.
case 1.
if an employee applies leave from Thursday 21-Aug-2014 to Wednesday 27-Aug-2014, it will be counted as 7 days. (Thu+Fri+Sat+Sun+Mon+Tue+Wed).
case 2.
if the same employee create two separate leave requests:
from Thursday 21-Aug-2014 to Friday 22-Aug-2014, it will be counted as 2 days. (Thu+Fri).
and
from Monday 25-Aug-2014 to Wednesday 27-Aug-2014, it will be counted as 3 days. (Mon+Tue+Wed).
but in case 2, only 5 days are considered as leaves, how can we make sure that total 7 days are considered as absent in case 2, and 7 days have to be deducted.
is there any standard configuration item provided in SAP, to enable this, or is there any way to enforce it.
We checked the ESS Process Processes of Leave request option and Time configuration,
