Hi Fahad,
Is this the error page after Upgrade from a Lower version of Portal to 7.4 or on changing the Logon page war file.

Nitesh

Hi Nitesh,
Its because of an upgrade. I solved part of the problem. In Portal Administrator under Configuration > Authentication and Single Sign-On > ticket, I changed the Flag of "BasicPasswordLoginModule" to Required so Now I can at least see the login Page on Portal but when I give username/password and press the login button, its not working. The msaage in the log file is:
No application classloader can load login module class: com.be_loginmodules.BEPortalLoginModuleClass. Probably application that deployed the login module is stopped and cannot be started.
Can you guide me in this regard.
Thanks and best regards.
Fahad
Hi Fahad,
The way to configure the logon page in the portal is different between EP 7.0 and EP 7.3.
From the exception you mentioned com.be_loginmodules.BEPortalLoginModuleClass it seems like a custom application (custom logon screen), and as you mentioned that it is after an upgrade, I guess that the following SAP Knowledge Base Article is relevant for you:
1935486 - NetWeaver Portal 7.3X/7.4 and custom logon screens
It contains references to the formal documentation of the portal on how to configure the logon screen, or develop a custom logon screen, in the new version.
Regarding authentication issues after the migration, you can follow KBA 1935486 - NetWeaver Portal 7.3X/7.4 and custom logon screens (also mentioned in the main KBA) to reset the authschemes.xml
Hope this information helps,
Thanks & regards,

Hi Sujana,
As mentioned above, is this solution not working for you?
" I solved part of the problem. In Portal Administrator under Configuration > Authentication and Single Sign-On > ticket, I changed the Flag of "BasicPasswordLoginModule" to Required so Now I can at least see the login Page on Portal."
After these changes I did nothing else, just restarted the Portal and then it was working for me.
Thanks and best regards.
Fahad
