Search results in new window

I am trying to create a URL iview to call the generic search component with a URL like the following

http://<server>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.search

This returns the search screen but when we enter a search critera, the results page opens in the current frame.

Does anyone have an idea if there is a parameter I can use to make sure that the results open in a new window?

Thank you

    Hi Bernard,

take a look at this thread:

    displaying-results-of-search-iview

This should have all the info you need.

    Kind regards

    hi

iView settings: The parameter "Enable KM Search Advanced" is set to True, "Show 'Open in New Window' Option" is set to True, "Show 'Details' Option" is set to True

This iView is using the default Search Option Set and Search Components Set.

It's the one that is used in the portal toolarea.

In order to use a different setting (but keeping the default as it is) you can configure:

    &SearchPluginName=<MySearchOptionSet> and

    &SearchCompsName=<MySearchCompsName>

    within the URL parameters

'KM Search Parameters' and 'KM Search Advanced Parameters'.

if it helps please don,t forget to give points

    with regards
