How to call heuristics from custom program (Z-prohram)?

Hi,

Can any one let me know, how to call heuristics from custom program (Z-prohram)?

We would like to call heuricstic say (Fixed pegging heuristic, SAP_PP_019) from our own developed z-program.

How can we call that?

    Its basically /SAPAPO/HEUR_DO_HEURISTICS

    you get the information needed for i_heur_settings thru /SAPAPO/RRP_HEURISTIC_GET_DATA

    Hi Surajit,

    I've found this post in which you are asking for calling an heuristic from a custom program. I need the same thing and it worked, but I don´t know how to COMMIT the changes in the system after running the heuristic.

    The heuristic I'm calling creates planned orders but are not saved in the system...

    Do you have an idea about how to solve it? Thanks a lot!
