Cannot delete item on PO due to Budget exceeded by 1.00

Hi there, We tried to delete an item on PO document but failed. The error "PO annual budget exceeded by 1.00 (FMCB Availability Control) for several document items from item on" Message no. FMAVC008 PO annual budget exceeded by 1.00 (FMCB Availability Control) for several document items from item onward. Budget control on outgoing amounts ( ceiling type Expenditures) raised this message for the following combination of availability control ledger, fiscal year (and if applicable, year of cash effectivity) and control object: 9I/2016/-/120420/61010900

Note that this PO has not yet GR. Doc date is in last year, we tried to delete it current year. the availability budget in doc date is more than the PO ammount.

Hi,

Please, check the following:

a) With which logic your AVC ledger is activated? Soft, normal or strict?

b) Is the amount of the item in PO you are deleting is equally 1.0?

c) Is FM address communicated in the message is the right one? For more info, check OSS note 1927141

d) If the deletion happens in different year, there could be a budgetary issue, if you have annual budget and, especially if you have strict AVC logic activated. Hence, you should treat the document correctly carrying it forward and then processing (deleting/modifying) it accordingly.
