Transport request

Hi everybody,

I had assigned a new driver program and new form to an output type (NACE).

My Qusertion are:

1. it had created a workbench request ..so if this is to go to Test server shall i release this one only?

2. i created this longback...i cud not able to remind...

we assign a new program and new form to an output type (nace /EF purchase order) whether it creates any customizing request ?

3.do i need to release this one also?

4.IF so ..which one has to release first ?

Kindly clarify to me

Hi raja,

1. u must release all the requests

related to your development.

(whether past or present)

2. Sequence

Make sure the requests are transported

in the same order.

ie. Old ones FIRST

the out put type is old one, and you didn't release that.

and if you are assigning form/driver to same output type

then it will not ask for request.

But if it is new one then it will ask .

Hi again,

1. i have not worked upon this functinality

of output type.

However if it asks for a new request,

create it !

2. we can release any request first

whether customizing or workbench

if it is a matter of only 1 + 1 reqeust.

3. But other work bench requests,

they need to be transported in sequence.!

Thanks for ur reply amit.

See my workbench request contains the new program and form

customization request contains TNAPR entries and some other entries..

So upto my knowledge i have to release both

what do u say?

kindly can u clarify me the 3 rd point?

other t request has to be released in sequence means what?

can u provide some explanation on this?

hi again,

Yes, your two requests have to be released.

1. for your whole development if there

are total two requests (1 customizing, 1 workbench)

then don't worry about my point 3.

2. if there are more than 2 workbench requests,

(supppose some other object / fm / report

u have created/modified and u assigned

it to q new request)

then just take care to transport these

work bench requets, in the same order

, as they were created. thats all !
