RE: new-page

HI,

Iam facing two problem in scripts.

1. Iam using new-page command in the main window editor.

If i use one notification number then it has to show 1 page. But it is giving two pages. So how to rectify this.

example: if i run for 200 pages

it is giving 201 pages

2. When ever i run the script it automatically should go to the sap mail box. How can i achieve this.

    HI Check where you placed that condition NEW_PAGE.

    and You need to create out put types .

    Basis will do that, they will create output type,for layout,connected driverprogram..

    Hi paluri,

    1. i also had face similary problem.

    2. i assume u have a element for new page

    in ur sapscript layout.

    3. After that u need to modify ur driver program

    ( a little)

    4. U must be having a MAIN LOOP for printing purpose.

    5. Before u print anything inside the loop,

    use this logic (write ur own code )

    for handling new page.

    6. in the code maintabix variable

    is nothing but the loop counter

    which u can explicity maintain in the loop.

    maintabix = maintabix + 1.

    -

    SOMETHING OF THIS SORT .

    LOOP AT ITAB.

    IF maintabix >= 2.

    PERFORM write_element USING 'NEWPAGE' 'MAIN'.

    ENDIF.

    PERFORM doprint. "this will print data

    ENDLOOP.

    5. I u just understand the logic above,

    u will know why 1 EXTRA PAGE gets printed.

    and how to handle it.

    I hope it helps.

    regards,

    amit m.
