Dear All,

When I dispatch the Order by using transaction CM25 with

Overall profile  SAPCRPG001

System is throwing below error -

Phases cannot be dispatched or deallocated

Message no. CY420

Diagnosis

Currently you cannot dispatch phases directly.

Procedure

If you want to dispatch or deallocate phases, dispatch or deallocate the operation. The phases that belong to it are thereby also dealt with.

Need expert advice....

Thanks,

Rahul

Hello

The error message CY 420 seems to be correct when you are dispatching or deallocating a

phase.

You should not be dispatching phases from planned order or process orders!!!

Only operations can be dispatched because the resources are assigned at the operation level (not the phase level) in PP-PI. This is standard functionality.

The behavior is due to the fact that generally phases of an operation are executed on the same work center of the operation. In fact, the standard profiles used for PP-PI in the planning table

eliminate should this issue by only displaying the operations. Please review the same data in standard transaction CM29 (or use CM25 with standard profile SAPPI_G001).

Hi Caetano,

By this SAPPI_G001 Proile, now I can dispatch the Operations.

Can you please elaborate the following query -

I have 1 recipe with 0010, 0020 Phase with Resource say R1 & 0030, 0040 phase with Resource R2.

When I dispatch the operations of R1 resource, automatically Start & end date of Process Order changed. Can you please tell me about the other R2 resource behaves ?

Hello Rahul

The entired order is rescheduled, considering the dispatched operation as a constraint.

It means that another operations will be scheduled, considering the dispatched operation dates and the relationships defined on the master recipe.
