Classification

Hi,

We have a folder in which documents will be placed and it has approval process enabled. We want to use this folder as a source for taxonomy creation. Also we want to classify the documents whose status is approved. How can i specify this in query builder? I dont see any property in query builder.

Also where can i get more information on all the properties for example i have a property called size which i can use and i dont have an idea of what values i can put(for example i used 1 should i assume this a KB or MB or B?) I am looking for this kind of information.

Thanks

Kiran

    Hi Kiran,

If you want to use the folder as taxanomy. I suggest you use Example based taxonomy instead of query based.

If you want to use the property as a criteria then Query is a good option.

Have you tried bundling those properties, which might help

      Hi Badrinath,

I cannt use Example Based Taxonomy because i have to classify all approved documents based on some of the properties. I assume crawler picks up only the documents that are approved. I just wanted to make sure this.

      Thanks

      Kiran

      Hi Kiran

As I recall, then documents in approval state is visible to everyone with write access. This is because everyone with write access should be able to open the documents and edit them, therefore the documents should of course also be visible to them.

Did you check if the documents are visible with a user that only has read access?

And did you check if your current user has write permissions? (Or higher?)

      Best regards,

      Martin
