How to modify the report output?

Hi,

How can i read the ODS(tables) or INFO CUBE(tables) in the BEx Report user exits.

My requirement is to modify the value of record in the report output.

i don't know exactly which user exit i need to use.

if anybody working on this.

please help me.

    Hi Madhu,

    If you want to change the value of the record in the report output, you need to do that in the Cell Definitions. This can make you possible to get the required values in the output. for this the prerequisite is to have two structures while designing the query. You can specify the fixed value or using any formula to derive for a value. Donot forget to assign poits if you feel it is of some help.

      Thanks for your immediate response.

      Actual my requirement is

      i have CUBE contains the records as showed below

      characteristics keyfigures

      TM1 TM2 TMV1 TMV2

      A 20

      A B 10 30

      B A 20 10

      B 20

      B 10

      A 10

      what i want is

      i want the user to enter any value in the user input.

      based on the input i want search the value in the TM1 TM2

      if it find the value in any one,then i need to summit the corresponding keyfigure value.

      output should come

      A 50

      B 80

      if i am not clear , let me know

    Hi,

    If you want to modify the report output based on ODS or Cube data you need to use Virtual key figures /charectaristics ..

    The components for the enhancement are the function modules EXIT_SAPMRSRU_001 and EXIT_SAPMRSRU_999.
