Hi,
Sorry to post this here, but there's something I can't beleive.
Our SBO consultant is telling us that the only way an Add-On can handle documents is by "clicking" buttons. I mean, for instance, we've created a fucntion that prints all the drafts of invoices. What it does is: query to show a list of drafts, double click every line, click the print icon and then the print button on window's dialog.
This looks like a simple macro in Word. I could explain hundreds of processes like this. It makes SBO painfully slow. I can't beleive clicking forms is the only way to do this. Shouldn't there be a funcion like Doc.Print()?
Thanks a lot!
Sergi,
Unfortunately, there is no function like Doc.Print, as the document is not in a printable format. This is the way SBO is designed - the document object is a COM object that can only output its properties in XML format.
