Tvak does not exist ?

Dear sd experts

May be this is basic question but i am not able to sort out please tell me

I have been running the business with one sales area like ZHYD  And assigned document type is ZMED

Every thing is ok now i want to assign Another Document type like ZMMM To  same sales area To ZHYD

so as per previews setting in enterprise every thing is ok except Assigning sales are to new document type ( ZMMM)

BUT while assigning i am getting new error that TVAK Table does not exist   of this document type .

But if i assigned CS Document type here system is accepting ..

i am not able to find exact what is the issue

note : i have created partner determination only For ZMED Doc but not ZMMM  , Is this cause ?

one sales area like ZHYD 

If I am correct, ZHYD is a document type assigned to some sales area.  First find out in OVAZ to which sales area, this is assigned.

And assigned document type is ZMED

Where?  Share the IMG path

Better before posting your further queries, please go through the SD basic configuration as I feel, you are lacking in that and that is why such types of issues system is giving.  If you have already gone, better share which specific configuration, you have checked for the above issue.

in OVAZ ( Assigne sales area to sales document types)

assigned here ZHYD TO ZMED

But now i want to assign new sales document type in this T.code

Dear Madhuri ..

I Think problem with OR Document type in VOV8

Some times while copying one Document type to another document some fields are not copied

so in your case may be First OR Document type May be Deleted and some one again Copied that OR Document type

Because except this reason i am not able to think any reason

reason is already You have completed all enterprise structure only you want to assign New sales document type to that sales area .... thats it but you are telling 

if i assigned CS Document type here system is accepting 

So 100 % This is Document type problem only ...check with technical Team

Madhuri,

First you have to create the new sales document type ZMMM in VOV8. Have you done that?

After creating, in SE16N, table TVAK, given AUART = ZMMM and execute. You should see one record with details of this new order type.

May i know why we go to se16n and  we have to document type because every thing is ok as per OP

Go to table TVAK and check if an exists for the new sales document type ZMMM.

Only after creating a order type, the subsequent configuration e.g. assign sales area to order type, etc. can be done.
