Hi, please consider posting in the Knowledgemanagement forum. You will most likely get help there. I can only suggest to check the trace files for KM exceptions - I am not a indexing expert...

HI,
The location of the trace depends on the version of the portal that you are using. If you are using NW04 up to SPS 10, then you can find the trace in the config trace file. This is named config.x.trc (x is a number) and is found under the /serverx/log directory.
In other versions, the trace wll be in the default_trace.x.trc files. These are in the same folder.

Hello gnanadeva,
actually i am having the nearly the same problem on EP6 SP14.When i create a new index the search funktion didn't work for the users which are using the new index. The search funktion only works when the users deselect the new index in the advanced search option.
When i try to reindex manually,no documents are in the queues. On the other side the indexing of documents works for the new index when i shedule a job for it.Then the search funktion also works again without a problem. Perhaps anyone of the KM-Experts have a solution for that.
Regards
Frank
