Minimise prodcution orders convert , release and confirmation process in discrete Manufacturing process

Dear All,

I have one scenario in Textile manufacturing industry.Frequently change FG and SFG levels. Each FG having More than 100 SFG levels. In Each stage client want to see the stocks .For that we have to maintain more than 100 material codes. Each time operations are also change in Different FGs.If we create One FG with 100 SFGs so for One FG will get more than 100 Production orders. Is there any simple process or user friendly process in Discrete or REM minimise the production orders  convert and release and confirmation process.

Thanks in advance

Sree

Hi Sree,

You can use T-code COHV to release all the production order same time.

you can select production order and release.

For Planned order to production order conversion you can use CO41( collective planned conversion) if you are using MTO scanario.

let me know if you problem still not solved.

Thanks,

Dear Anirudh,

Thanks for Your Prompt reply. But my issue is restrict or minimize number production orders create for FG.Why Because my client have minimum 100 FGs produced in every month. So it is difficult to handle and followup these many orders .Is there any process to combine production orders to minimize the efforts and user friendly.

Thanks in advance

HI Sreenivas,

If you want to maintain semi-finished but no planned order should create or minimum number of production order.

you can maintain semi-finished product as a "Phantom Assembly" item, which is logical group hold all the components.

for example Engine there are number of components instead of that you can maintain as

Engine

     0010. piston

     0020. piston assembly

     0030. cam

     0040. cam assembly ...etc.

Phantom Assembly - Master Data - SAP Library
