Hi,

At the SOLMAN 7.1 SP11 basis configuration->5 Configure Automatically-> "Enable System Data Measurement" tab  ,I getted one  warning "CUP: BI content setup failed"

I have followed  http://scn.sap.com/thread/3501578 and note 1945017, but it is unhelpful.

Who can give some advise?

Thanks

Leo

Hi All

The problem has been solved . Because the BW source System is not been activated successfully.Just in Tcode RSA1->Modeling->Source system->BI-><client name>-> right click ->Restore .Then Activate BW content RCA -> Enable System Data Measurement. It is work well.

before running step 5 Basic Configuration, I suggest manually actving the infocube as follow:

  1. Log onto the configured BW client / system.
  2. Call transaction RSA1.
  3. Select the source system.
  4. Right click and select activate.
  5. Select Replicate as well.
  6. Select this and following x as 3.x DataSource (ISFS)
  7. Check the scheduled background job BI_TCO_ACTIVATION
  8. Select Source System check box and confirm.
  9. After the background job BI_TCO_ACTIVATION finishes, check the BI Activation Status in transaction RSTCO_ADMIN:
  10. Background job BI_TCO_ACTIVATION will be scheduled again and activate the missing objects

after this, try step 5 again.

My BW client is 200 . In 2.1 Specify SAP BW System : Use Standard SAP Solution Manager BW environment .

  1. please sure user SM_BW_ACT has all the requeired role

     SOLMAN_SETUP->Basic

     Configuration ->2.3 Create Users ->Standard ID SM_BW_ACT

2. check SCC4,if client 001 and 200 is set to "automatic recording of changes"

Hi Leo Lee,

May be the issue with authorization to activate the info cubes, check the BW user of the client 200 and provide the admin access and try it.

Hi Leo

In the meantime, Can you check  in Solution Manager below; ( Not on your BW system)

RSA1 --> Source System --> BI --> "Solution Manager 7.1"

This should be created by system when you run this step & this is a self Solution Manager system and uses its own logical system  i.e. [<SID>CLNT<200>] as a RFC to internal Solution Manager System.

Check this RFC [<SID>CLNT<200>] is working as well if not correct RFC details under SM59 and we are not supposed to change anything under RSA1.

Hi Leo

Please refer this note (it is old but may help ?) , 1601253 - Error: GEN_INCLUDE_NOT_EXEC - /1CAGTF/IF_LOGFUNC_000500

this note says, Program '/1CAGTF/IF_LOGFUNC_000500' should be existing in the system. If not, do a Service Definition Refresh to generate it........

Check this program is exists in your system ?, also refer some other referenced notes,

1710578 - BI Content Activation Errors in SolMan Basic Configuration

2004409 - Runtime error 'OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED' in function module 'E2E_ESREP_GET_MSYS'
