EWM Yard Management flexibility

Hi Experts

1. Can we operate EWM Yard Management with flexibility to use

    e.g. GI Yard area for Inbound Process alos (Goods Receiving) also ?

    What would be the implications ?

    How Would be Staging area and Door Determination for inbound / outbound in that case?

   The requirement is Yard Areas could be used flexibly either for receivng or outbound proccess.

2. Can we record the lead time of truck Loading ?

Hi Vinod,

You can use all the things you have maintained in single yard. Just be careful door for inbound and door for outbound as you require and there mapping in config.

and with movement of TU you can find  lead time of truck Loading with sap ewm monitor.

Hello Vinod,

You can use Yard area for both Goods Receiving and Goods Issue both. EWM provided that option. However, If you have the choice, suggest you to define separately. I am not sure about Implications. Heard that, Having separate will have less issues. But not sure How exactly it is.
