Shopping Cart: Describe Requirement functionality

Hi All,

I create a shopping cart using Describe requirement functionality and price is not looking to be a mandatory field.

The shopping cart goes into ordered status even if I donot key in price in Shopping cart.

Is this a standard SRM functionality or there is some bug in the SRM system.

Kindly confirm.

Hi Nishant,

This is a standard functionality to accommodate the business requirement where the employee need not necessarily know the price of the item he is ordering. The purchaser is expected to know the price, which he can fill later in the cart.

Price is not mandatory. If your requirement is to make it mandatory then you use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.
