language problems in mapping lookup

hello,

i have read and implemented the lookup using the following thread:

https://sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/uuid/801376c6-0501-0010-af8c-cb69aa29941c

when excute this code it works perfectly in english, but when i get other languages in the XML it doesn't work.

i tried to locate the problem and find out the problem comes when i parse the XML and try to find the field value that i need.

i am using Document,DocumentBuilder classes to parse the XML.

is there any solution to the problem?

is there any other method that works when using other languages?

is there any other classes that that works when using other languages?

Regards,

Roi Grosfeld

    hi,

    try to use

    Unicode and UTF-8, US-ASCII and ISO-Laitin-1 support

if this does not solve your problem try to use XML parser that supports the language you intend. hope this one solves your problem 😊

    • Hi Roi!!!

First of all, please make sure that your source message is really encoded in UTF-8 (or other you have choosen).

According to my experience, 99% problems with parsing xml documents (with national characters) come from incorrect encoded documents.

If that doesn't help then please post your code - we'll look at it. There are always overloaded methods that eneble you to set encoding.

      Regards,
