Change Subject in Work Inbox Task

Former Member

Hi gurus,

Is there any way to change the Subject that someones receives in his Inbox Tasks?

For example the message: Perform Manual Test Control Effectiveness, should be changed to Manual Control Testing+Control name.

Is it possible?

Thanks,

Kind regards,

Hi John,

There is a step to step detail available in the documentation of SPRO.

You can refer the same to change the text of the Workflow Task Name .

Follow the path -

SPRO -> Governance, Risk and Compliance -> General Settings -> Workflow -> Workflow Task Names.

Then refer to the documentation of all the three nodes.

Thank for your reply Silky!

One more thing....how can I set the business rule ID that a control is linked to in the subject of the message? I thought with variables but I don´t know which one to use....

Thanks!!

Hi Katrice,

Thanks for your message but I think this is once the message has been sent.

I want to change the "default message" that someone receives in the Inbox related to Testings.

Is it possible?

Thanks,

Sorry to bother you again,

It is because I can not try it now, but I want to be sure that every time I plan the test of control effectiveness the control owner, will receive the message that I changed. Could you please confirm?

Thanks,

Hi John,

I'm not bothered instead very happy to help you to resolve your issue. Once you change the code which populated subject line based on your requirement, the control owner will receive the message which you've changed.

You can take help of ABAP'er available in your team.

Thanks
