How to change Data Format in a graph bars

Hello everybody,

I am working on BO XI 4.1 reports and I am really surprised about some restrictions on format which were not existing in deski (BO 5 + BO XI 3).

But maybe you already find the solution...

Here is my issue :

- What I would like is to get numbers under the following format : 3 118 and not 3,118 (Image 1).

- For the axis, there is no issue, I managed to change it thanks to "custom" format (using the tool bar above or "format chart" by clicking right on the graph)

- But for the data inside the bars, the tool bar (Image 4) is blocked when I select any graph bar. And the option is also not available when clicking on "Format Table" (Image 2). What is strange is that the option is available when I select "percent instead of "value" (Image 3)...I can customize the format. But as my data is not a percentage it does not interest me.

Hi Audrey,

Other option that you can try is create a variable and use that variable in your graph-

V_FormatNum=FormatNumber([Object];"#")

Hello Anuj,

Thank you for your quick answer.

I was hoping for a faster solution as I have more than 200 documents...so if I have to create a variable for each graph among the 200 documents, it is gonna be very very long.

And besides this function used to exist in deski so I do not get why it does not longer exist...it was very useful and basic.

I really hope that someone knows where this function is in webi 4...
