Not able to download S&OP Add-In for Microsoft Excel

Hello Folks,

I have been trying  to download the  S&OP Add-In for Microsoft Excel but its not just getting downloaded. I am not able to see the S&OP in the excel ribbon. Any help would be appreciated. Let know if any info is needed from my end.

Try to check Add on options in the excel, You may please need to activate which will be in manage in the bottom of add in

1) generally, under the following link you will always find the newest available add-on:

--> Comprised Software Component Versions --> SAP SOP EXCEL ADD-ON 3.0 --> # OS independent

2) As there are new Add-on's several times a year, you should efford to check with your administrators that you get the required authorizations, or that they provide always the latest version to you with other means, e.g. by putting the file in the company - internal "shopping-basket"

3) When installing was successfully, but you dont get it displayed, than go to Excel (I have Excel 10, so the path might be slightly different for you)

--> ribbon "file"

--> "Option"

==> you get a new window, here:

On the left choose "Add-Ins"

--> than on the right side bottom-left you will find "Manage"

--> choose "COM-Add-Ins" and press "Go..."

==> you get a new little window popped up. Here your "S&OP Add-In for Excel" should appear and flagged :

If that does not appear, you installatoin was not successful and you have to repeat

Hello,

from the S&OP interface, it will leads you to the SAP servicemarket place for the Excel plugin download. So you can also get it there directly.

After you installed on your excel 2010/2007, you should see the S&OP menu tab.

Hello YS,

I tried that and as you correctly indicated, it takes me to SAP marketplace. But throws and error saying I don't have authorization. Tried with couple of user ids but it didnt work. Any other option?

You need to use your SAP-user ID, typically an I-User (internal) or S-User (customer user). In some cases especially for S-User you need to get your authorization enhanced by your administrator to download software from Service Marketplace, as it is the normal way to download all kind of software from SAP

Hi Irmhild,

I tried using the S id and it didnt have the auth to download it from the marketplace. I even tried directly executing it from the .exe file as well, the installer runs and completes but the S&OP tab never appears in my excel. Let me know if you have any other option to get it work.
