no conversion factor for material and unit of measure

Hi Experts,

When we inward the material in MIGO ( 105 movement ie Release GR blocked stock ), we get the following error :

There is no conversion factor for material XXX and unit of measure !

The Base unit of Measure maintained in the material master is NOS. There are no alternative UoM's. We have used NOS everywhere ( in the order unit of the PO as Nos, and Order Price Unit also as NOS, material master Unit of measure as Nos, in the Purchasing Info record as Nos)

Conv factor in Purchasing info record ( ME13 ) is also set as 1 Nos ---- 1 Nos.

However  we still get this error. Also this error seems to appear only for one plant, and not for other plants. Can somebody throw some light on the issue ?

This message does not have any unit of measure mentioned (usually visible at the end of the message), this means that there is a unit of measure field left empty.

Please check if you have this OSS note installed, as it fixes a program error: 849832 - Wrong error message 6R 094
