Material field validation in MM RFQ-ME41/ME42

Hello Experts,

I am validating if the material number is empty in MM RFQ -ME41/ME42 then I need to stop to proceed further. Actually in standard process if any one of material or material text can be entered. My actual requirement is based on document type I need to show error if the material number is blank.

In this case the enhancement 'MM06E005' can be used possibly the function exit-EXIT_SAPMM06E_013.

loop at xekpo.

if xekpo-MATNR is initial.

MESSAGE 'Please maintain Material' TYPE 'E'.

endif.

endloop.

But the actual problem is I have maintained 20 rows in table control and 21st row i have maintained material text, in this case validation triggered but I couldnt delete the 21st row which means I need to create RFQ from beginning which is redundant work.

When we display error message then I should able to change the corresponding line item.

If anyone worked in this scenario please helpw.

Regards,

Vadamalai A
