Which Cache should be cleared first when changes @ Odata layer occur?

In a hub scenario when Odata model changes occur, which systems Cache jobs should be cleared first backed followed by Gateway or vice versa? Does sequence matter?
We are automate this process from 3rd party tool and want to set correct dependencies. Providing proof of documentation would be greatly appreciated!

Sequence of clearing cache does not matter.

By default metadata cache on backend is deactivated, but activated on hub. So usually clearing on the hub is good enough.
