Hello together,
I have a problem with one customizing setting. I found that in the SPL setup there is a flag "Send Mail When Business Partner Blocked" which sounds exactly what I´m looking for. Unfortunately, it´s not working for me.
What I´ve done:
1. Set the flag
2. In table /SAPSLL/PARMA there is a link from a BP (that always gets blocked) to a FTO
3. In the Notification Control for Blocked Partners I´ve maintained the FTO from the BP to my test user group, where I´m maintained
4. My user in the user group has a valid e-mail address
5. Mail sending is possible, I´ve tested with SO01 and I´m getting mails
So, when should I receive an e-mail now? Is this triggered only when a customer is changed/transferred from feeder system? Should I also get a mail when I manually execute SPL check and manually save the result so that the partner gets blocked? Or is it only triggered when SPL screening is executed in a batch job?
To be honest I´ve tried every 3 possibilities, but without any mail created. I also found thread where FM /SAPSLL/SPL_SCREENING_BP is mentioned, but I couldn´t see when this should be executed.
What I´m missing? I have no more idea, docu, master guide etc. doesn´t give me more information, so any comment and help is appreciated.
Tobias
Hello Tobias,
Please see transactions SCOT and SOST to check that you don't have any pending emails stuck in there.
Aswell, please check following Knowledge Base Article that explains why in some situations and using some transactions, no emails are triggered:
1676947 - KBA: No email generated when business partner is blocked.

Here is the link to the KBA:
Ahh, ok, sorry. Thought KBA can be reached differently. At least there it´s written exactly what I didn´t want to hear (also for all others that have the same problem):
In standard the system assumes that if a SPL check is performed within GTS, no
email is necessary as you can see the logs directly in the system.http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1676947
So e-mails are only triggered when data is coming from feeder system ...
That means only during the first initial transfer of business partners (when all
data is present) or if another initial transfer happens, when address data
Thanks for that hint!
