Leave request workflow

Hi Experts,

I am creating leave request in portal. Approval process and everything is working fine(the workflow may be WS12300111). But when I checked in log I couldn't find a log for the same. When I created travel request it is coming in log.

I used SWI2_FREQ, SWEL, SWI1,SWIA tcodes for checking log but except leave request all the triggered workflow logs are coming.Leave request process is working fine.

Suggest me a solution how to get the log. Because I need to customize the workflow.

    Hi

    the header table for leave request is PTREQ_HEADER. check whether this table is getting updated with status SENT when you create a leave request. There is a field in this table WORKITWMID which will give you the leave workflow instance number, check if it exists.

    Hi,

    Are you able to find anything in SWI1.

    If anything not found then, my suggestion is to recheck the client (like 100 , 101 etc ) which is link with the portal

    check transaction SWELS that there is no restriction on the event log and that it is active.

    if the approval process is working fine check in SWI5 of the active workitems for the user who is the leave approver.

    Hello,

    After you create a leave request, go to SWI1 and look at everything created in the last 5 minutes. It will be there. It could be someone else has already customized the workflow and it no has another number.

    Hello Jeena,

    Please check the transaction code PTARQ .Here you can simulate and check the neccessary customiziation for leave.All leave request need not go through workflow.Some VIP may have have auto approve kind of an option.
