Dear Experts,

I am facing issue for CO_ORDER archiving object. I am getting error saying like

" there is still a purchase order commitment for ORD 200060" and

"order 200060 still has at least one purchase order that you need to do".

so Please help me to solve this issue.

Hello Manju Sir,

Now that issue setting of deletion indicator is got successful. I mean I set residence time 1 as 0 and I tried to archive and I got successful. but I am facing the issue saying " there is still a purchase order commitment" , "there is a still Purchase requisition assigned to order" and

"still has at least one purchase order that you need to delete" etc for all orders when i set residence time 1 as 39 months (even i tried by setting the residence time 1 as zero i am getting the same error messages) and residence time 2 as 0. for these orders deletion flag itself is not getting set. so please help me for this.

It is already said in the long text to message KO013 that you have to archive the purchase order before you can archive the CO_ORDER

the same can be seen if you click the network button in SARA (after you entered object CO_ORDER)

From the log it is clear that there is dependency exist on the record, means you have to close or archive the purchase order. residence time is nothing to do with this scenario.

make sure you select the small box for order list in the selection screen to get an extended log.

I changed Residence time 1 to 0 months and Residence time 2 to 0 months. and I continued the archiving process. now i m able to set the deletion flag deletion indicator successfully but if i do   the write process, again i am getting the message in pool saying number of written data objects are zero.  please

Yes I checked in AUFK-LOEKZ, deletion flag is set for few orders. when I check in JEST-STAT for deletion indicator, the same orders are not existing or not available in the JEST table. when i run the preporcessing program for the same orders for setting the deletion indicator  i am getting the error message residence time 1 not yet expired. even though residence time 1 has expired (i.e I have given Residence time 1 as 40 months and Residence time 2 as 0 months. I need to archive till 31.03.2011). Please tell me what would be the reason?

Go into your customizing and press F1 for the residence time fields, it is well explained.

Residence 1 is the time between setting of the deletion flag and the deletion indicator

Residence 2 is the time between setting of deletion indicator and archiving.

If you have set the deletion flag just this week, then you have to wait 40 months until you can set the deletion indicator. And then you can directly continue with archiving as residence time 2 is set to zero

for the same issue, We have decided to exclude the PO/PR document types. but we have few orders apart from PO/PR document types. for these orders i am able to set the deletion flag, I dont knw where to check the deletion indicator is set or not. and I continued and I run the write process also but in spool i am getting the message saying number of written data objects are zero.why I m getting this message even though records are available to continue the archiving process.  Please please help me for this. its urgent.

Transaction DB15 can tell you all the tables that are used for archiving object CO_ORDER.

The archiving program selection include RKAARCUX checks on aufk-loekz and if jest-stat has VALUE 'I0013'  to know if an order can be archived or not.

How would the knowledge about the table help you further in your issue?  I have somehow the feeling you want set this deletion indicator with a program update especially as I do not see any reply from you if you have done anything in the purchase order to correct the issue.

the deletion indicator can only be set to those orders which have already a deletion flag and passed the residence time 1 from your order type customizing.

Yes  I gone through both. that wt ever u replied its for the orders which  I am not able to set for deletion flag itself. for that I am working on to delete the purchase orders and purchase requisition assigned to the orders. but there are some orders I am able to set the deletion flag but I am not able to set the deletion indicator. so when i am trying to set the deletion indicator i am getting the messages number of orders processed is zero. why I am getting this message  and what is the table and field to check the deletion indicator is set or not ?

Please check the solution specified in the thread for all the order numbers in issue.

It is mostly a functional issue rather than technical issue.
