Inbound Queue Entries

Folks,

One of the entries in the inbound queue R3AD_ACCOUNTING has about 80K LUW entries. One of the LUW entries is failing with the error "Update BDoc status failed - BDoc not found".

In SMW01 I dont see any such queue entry. My understanding is that since this is the inbound queue (From R/3-CRM), the BDoC gets created after the queue entry is processed successfully, Is this correct ? And also, how can I proceed with this issue ?

Also, I have some BDoC's in SMW01 that are in the processing state. How come I dont see any corresponding queue entries ? Is this 'cuz the queue entry got processed successfully and created the BDoC but the BDoC is not getting processed (In case of Inbound). And also, in case of outbound ..the BDoC got created but the queue entry was not ? Please confirm.

Faz

    Hi Faz,

Bdoc and queues have bidirectional influence.

2.If the message states that the bdoc isn't found, it's probably because the bdoc that originally created the queue-entry (and must be confirmed by it), has been cleaned in the meantime. --> the queue is searching to confirm the bdoc, but doesn't find it.

    3. If the bdoc remains in a running state, it's because it's dependent on another process that needs to be finished. Either the process is stuck in a queue (and might have been deleted from the queue manually) or a short-dump was triggered, which cancelled the process.

    Hope this helps,

    Michael.
