Access to Business Workplace Inbox

Hello,

I use SAP Netweaver Gateway with ODATA protocol.

Into Workflow Services metadata I cannot find which service offering the possibility to access to "Document" part of the "Inbox" coming from "Business Workplace":

Is it possible to access to theses information from the workflow services ?

Hi Dominique,

Please upload a screenshot of Business Workplace Inbox and mark the "Document" part.

I'm not clear that you are talking about workitem description or something else.

I think "Document" has just emails. Are you going to develop a something like email client?

Could you share business use case?

In fact, we just need to display new mail into a web user interface then we need to access to theses informations.

Do we need to have "Task Gateway" installed and enabled to access to Inbox content ?

According to SAP NG documentation below it seems to be the case:

Hi Dominique,

Most of customers set auto forward to daily use email client from SAP systems.

I think those services are for workflow workitems and not for emails.

You can create OData services for emails. There are Function Modules to read emails.

If I well understood, is not possible with Workflow services and Task Gateway service to access information that I need. It's strange because I'm able to access to Outbox from Workflow services...

To be precise, I do no want access to email but I want to access to "Document" part of the In box, but I don't know if it's the same thing...
