Customer Material Number to be mandatory in VD51/52

Hi,

There is a requirement to make Customer Material Number (KDMAT) mandatory while creating CMIR through VD51 or VD52 transactions.

I tried, but couldn't find any user exit or BADI for the same.

Can anyone suggest, is there a way to achieve it?

Regards,

Aslam.

    Hi Aslam

You can create Enhancement Spot for this change at inculde MV10AF0M_MV10A-KDMAT.

1, you need to show implicit enhancement options.

2, create the enhancment spot in the form MV10A-KDMAT. create at beginning of it.

3, in this enhancement, you can add the logic to check if the field KDMAT is space. send the message.

    Hi Mohammed,

Try Implicit Enhancement for the particular screen. If available, check whether the field is Initial, based on that allow the system to proceed further steps.

Also SHD0, please find the link below.

      Hi Raj,

      Thanks for the inputs.

Here, we cannot go with a transaction variant, as this requirement is only for a specific group of customers.

In the case, implicit ehnacement can be the only option if custom exit or explicit enhacement is not available at all.
