How to export an excel file in a folder of BOE FileSytem from a schedule ?

Dear all,

I need from a schedule to send an excel file in a folder of BOE FileSystem. I try a lot of things but nothing works !!

At first, I try to send with a destination job server and to schedule the report with file destination option but I saw in administration guide that it concerns only the folders outside BOE FileSystem.

Secondly, I have tried to schedule the report with option Default Entreprise location but it is impossible to change the default schedule location.

I saw that I have to change it with Query Builder or Info Query. What that's ?

Thank you for your help.

Mike.

    Hi Patrice,

I would say you should be able to do this with a standard schedule:

    • Schedule the report
    • Format: Excel
    • Destination: File System
    • Directory: Path of the Folder on the server

Do you have an error somewhere along this procedure?

One of the requisites for this to work is that the destination "file system" has been enabled on the adaptive job server.

    Best regards,

    Victor

    Hi Patrice,

When you schedule a report into Excel and choose Default Entreprise location, it gets saved in the report history and gets physically stored in Output File Repository Server.

In order to put an Excel file to a BOE folder, you can use the Publishing Wizard tool; however, I am not sure if there is a direct way to schedule a report to Excel and put into a BOE folder.

    Regards,
