Dear Consultants,
I would like to have the 'green flag' in 'display' mode in service notification creation (IW51) screen alone please.
Earlier I have made the field 'material' in display mode in IW52 (service notification change) screen, through the transaction code "OQM1' > Select 'influencing > and has made in display mode.
But for the , even after making it in display mode, still the icon appears in enabled mode in IW51.
Could some one help me to fix this requirement please.
Kind regards,
Jake

My dear friend,
IW51 is Service Notification Create transaction.
For Display, you need to use IW53 transaction.
If you want to control the Notification release functionality, You need to Activate Authorization control of Business transaction.
The User which should have Release authority, please assign the "BFRE" Business transaction authority.
Other user will have grey release button in IW51 transaction.

As another alternative, QQMA014 user-exit might work for you with few line coding. Here the objective will be to prevent NOPR status to Notification upon clicking on Green flag, but not to hide/disable this. If it suits, tell me, I'll try to give you the code. (Notification type too for which you want this)

Hi
If you want to restrict users from releasing notification you can do this with authorization object. No need to make it in display mode. If user has no authorization to release the notification he'll get error on clicking of this. Please check the authorization object I_VORG_MEL and Business Transaction PMM2 for this green flag.
