DMEE : How to upload XML file

Hello Friends - We have created DME tree in Sandbox and it is working fine. Now, I would like to download that format from Sandbox and upload it in Development system, instead of creating the same format again in Dev system.

I have downloaded the XML file and need to upload it to Dev now.

Can you please give a little idea on uploading this format.

Thanks

    Hi

Downloading is not possible you have to copy and paste from sandbox to dev system one by one.

    Thanks

    Hi Hoysala,

Go to DMEE T code then give tree type and format tree details. Now go to top side of that screen and then click Download XML File from the format tree menu.

Click Active version and then save the file in the desired location of your system.

Please make sure the file should be with .xml extension else it will through an error.

Now go to your desired SAP system i.e For E.g.:-Dev/Test system. Go to DMEE T code then give tree type and format tree details. Now go to top side of that screen and then click Upload XML File from the format tree menu.

Now check and activate the new format tree. If required please change few of the XML tags according to client requirement.

Also please make ensure to check the source system BASIS release of XML format tree and it has to match with the target system BASIS release, otherwise it would pop up the below warning message.

XML File has been generated in a higher SAP release.

I hope it helps else revert us with your query.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Lakshmi S
