Can anyone help me  to configure Party using B2B AS2 Adapter .

I tried configuring the channel using Party passing the Sender ID . Getting this error.

Cannot get channel binding: com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.CPAObjectNotFoundException: Couldn't retrieve binding for the given channelId: Binding:CID=67140c68525433f4a8468af588477d5e;

Hi Mithali,

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/cdded790-0201-0010-6db8-beb9bb2b2...

Under Sender Agency; put <your Business Service / System / Comm. Comp name>; example XID_112 or whatever

Under Sender Schema; put ALE#KU; if your Partner type of Sender is KU in WE20

This combination will derive the sender Party.

Similarly you can put the receiver boxes if you want to de-normalise and derive the receive party name.

Let me know if it helps; else can help you more!!

Thanks

Hi Saurabh ,

We are actually looking forward for Inbound scenario. What parameters do we pass then.

Hi Mithali,

Have you tried using the identifier tab.

Via denormalisation, it will identify the party with the details put in the Identifier tab. Hope I ahve understood you correctly.

Thanks

Hi Saurabh ,

Its Inbound Scenario.  For partner profiles we are using LS.

Hi Mithali,

When we have faced this issue in the past it was a result of copying an active channel and making changes for a new scenario.  One simple way we found to fix it in those cases was to deactivate the channel and then reactivate it and then the binding issue would go away.

My Doubt is What  would be the parameter to maintain while creating PARTY for Generic Sender in b2b configuration . One  would be the AS2 ID and the rest two. ??

Actually, Similar to Seeburger Configuration, Wanted to use PARTY to identify Trading Partner (AS2 ID maintained in PARTY). We are aware that there is a work around of using AS2 ID in Communication Channel, but we want to explore this option as well which would ease our migration process.

Hi,

Can you please share your configuration?

Seems like the error is not directly linked to the usage of the B2B add-on.

Kind regards,

Dimitri

And what exactly is the requirement or you want to achieve?

I want to maintain Sender AS2 ID in Party so that I need not configure Separate Sender AS2 Channel for all my Sender Trading partners.

Hi Dimitri,

Can you help me on this.

Hi,

You can try to create a 'generic' AS2 sender communication channel, linked to a generic party or business component.

Make sure you provide the parameters like AS2 ID, payload sybject etc to your trading partners.

Kind regards,

Dimitri
