I have created some "DUMMY_**" Customer IDs in my Test system to test some business requirements needing trial and error. I uploaded Sales History for few products for these DUMMY_** customers and then ran the Stat Forecast. So the KFs that have data for these DUMMY customers are Sales History and the Stat Fcst KFs. My testing is complete and business wants to take a different course which means I have to delete these DUMMY customers and / or delete associated KF data. Even if I use the PURGE operator, I don't think the future data (stat fcst KFs) will be deleted. My question is: if I delete the Master Data for these DUMMY Customers, would that cause any inconsistency on database side as there is sales History and Stat Forecast KF data associated with these customers I want to delete? Or would it work seemlessly?

Hi Pradip

It wont create any inconsistency in the system if you delete Dummy Master data. Make sure you also delete any compound master data if you have created with the customer.

To clear the data, there is one option if you really want to do that. You can edit the KF with Edit in Future, activate planning area -> Go to Excel and delete data for that KF for whole horizon.
