ST-PI Components were deselected automatically

Dear all,

I am currently using Solution Manager 7.1 SP8 to generate the stack.xml for an application server, which will update from ERP6.0 EHP4 to EHP7 latest stack.

During the step "Select Stack-Dependent Files", I select all items of ST-PI and click "Continue". Afterwards, the following screen is shown and I can't continue.

Will there be any step to troubleshoot this scenario before I update the deselected patches manually?

RUN rtcctool report in your ehp4 ecc system and patch them manually. Once this is done, regenerate xml for ehp7. Also check the log tab.

Once updated,  resyc sld and lmdb. Use automatic generation of stack. Make sure no manual entries in lmdb exists.

Dear all,

Thanks for the replies. I finally find out that the problem is SAP does not allow to implement both ST-PI 2008_1_700 and ST-PI 2008_1_710 patches at the same time. The problem is solved after select only 710 patches.

If you would have run RTCCTOOL on your system, then you would have got the answer easily.

Hi,

Try with the automatic selection instead of manual selection and under Log tab i think you're getting 10 log entries as well.

Confirm your SMSY or LMDB definitions for the system is complete or not,if possible share these errors also.
