Material stock out - For planned orders

Gurus,

I am currently trying to create a flow for Material stock out report based on Process orders and Planned orders (at component level)

Using 2LIS_04_P_COMP, I try to enhance and include RESB-VMENG to get the Qty for Availability value and the use below logic to get stockout

Stock out: “Qty for Availability” – “Required Qty” is negative, then “Stock out” 

For PLanned orders, RESB-VMENG is not filled. So, the question is:

How do I calculate Stock out for planned orders. ?

Thanks for responding to my request. I am not a PP expert here..All I need to understand a logic on how to bring the stock out calculation in to BW.

How do I make a difference between Stock out in Production order with Planned orders ?

Would appreciate if you can describe the answer with tables
